Change of Ownership at Marine & Outdoors

Marine and Outdoors are delighted to announce a change of ownership, effective April 1st 2024.
Adam Marshall and Brett Orchard have purchased the shareholding of Peter and Angela Walters, who have elected to make the move outside of Marlborough. We wish them the very best with their future endeavours.
Adam Marshall increases his shareholding further, after first becoming a shareholder and director in April of 2021. ”The last few years have flown by. I have enjoyed getting stuck in and growing the Marine and Outdoors brand, alongside our amazing team. I’m immensely proud of our team and the way they showed that dedication, knowledge, and hard work pays off, winning the ‘Yamaha Outboard Dealer of the Year’ and ‘Yamaha Overall Dealer of the Year’ awards in 2023. Looking to the future, I’m excited to build on our position in the marine sector, our involvement in the local community and on our reputation for friendly, knowledgeable and experienced service.”
We are also very pleased to announce and congratulate Brett Orchard on becoming a shareholder and director. This opportunity was made available as a result of his knowledge and outstanding performance over the last three years with Marine and Outdoors.
“Since coming onboard at Marine and Outdoors in 2021 as support in the retail space, my goal has always been to create place where customers can come in, feel relaxed and shop the huge range we have to offer. I furthered my role in 2022, moving into Marine Sales which was a fantastic opportunity to help our customers enjoy their time on the water here in Marlborough. I’m looking forward to combining my experience of the last three years in my new role, leading the Sales and Retail sectors of the business, alongside the tremendous team here”
