From The Workshop: Southern XP726 Fit Up

Check out this recent Southern 726 fit up. This open hardtop is ideal here in Marlborough with the epic combination of performance and comfort for the whole crew whether you’re cruising the Sounds or going wide.
Jordan is upgrading from a Lazercraft 580 Divemaster. He’s a keen spearo and deep water fisherman but was also looking for comfort and safety while overnighting with his young family. Regular trips to D’Urville Island and the outer sounds will constantly be on the menu!
The perfect power match for the XP726 is the new model Yamaha F250XSB. This new model not only looks sharp but is also packed with plenty of new features, including full digital electric steering (DES). Finding the fish is made easy with the massive Simrad NSS16 EVO3S, combined with a 1kw TM275LH-W transducer. Zipwake trim tabs have proven to be a great match with the Southern hulls, and will give Jordan and the family a more comfortable ride, better performance and improved fuel consumption in all conditions.
