If you’re looking to get into spearfishing or freediving, the first step is kitting yourself out with some gear.
While you’ll need a few bits of gear initially, the ongoing cost for spearfishing and freediving is relatively low. It’s also an enjoyable and sustainable way to grab a feed and enjoy our epic backyard.

While most packages start with gear that’s best suited for those learning the ropes, it’s gear that can be upgraded as you get a better feel for techniques and your own preferences. For example, packages come with basic fins that can be switched out for composites later like the range of Ruku blades.

Packages are a great start point for getting in the water, but if you’re wanting to upgrade a certain piece of gear to suit, we’ll make it happen. Want to change out your gun’s rubbers? Or upgrade the package gun? Too easy, you just need pay the difference toward the total price of the package.

You can go straight from store to shore
You can walk in-store with only the desire to spear your first fish, and leave with everything you’ll need to head straight to the water and come home with your first catch. We can’t guarantee you will, but you’ll have the right kit at least 😉. We can also give you some great pointers on staying safe in the water, which is just as important as the gear!
